What a beautiful venue to host an awesome cider festival.
On Saturday evening as the sun was setting, the Chequers Quarry at Headington, had their garden filled with customers for their Cider Fest. With a great selection of over 20 unique tasting ciders to choose from, all supplied by Lilley's Cider, there wasn't a shortage of smiling faces in sight.
The atmosphere was alive with local band, The Headingon Hillbillies, who produced some authentic tunes whilst the cider fanatics sat chatting, laughing and enjoying every moment. All to be topped by the tantalising smell of the hog roast that made the mouth water with an instant... the customers were up and queuing before the rolls were sliced.
An excellent evening had by all and a great refreshment to a usual Saturday night out. Check out more from the Chequers Quarry in the upcoming month.
